TroopSwap.com, a new website that provides military discounts to Veterans, Active Service Members and Military Dependents today announced that they will begin operations in the greater San Diego area on October 4th, 2011. The first e-commerce platform built exclusively for the military community, TroopSwap augments traditional military discounts by presenting offers to members in the popular daily deal format. Founded by two Army Rangers and Harvard Business School Alumni, Matthew Thompson and Blake Hall, the site has attracted over 17,000 users since its May 23, 2011 debut in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
