Mens lifestyle fashion brand AKOO Clothing recently hosted a celebrity-studded celebration in Los Angeles for the release of Power & Beauty, the debut novel by AKOOs Co-founder, Grammy award winning artist, actor, and producer, Clifford T.I. Harris. Guests from the music, fashion, sports, and entertainment industry came to show support for T.I. and his new novel. The event was held inside the Beverly Hills it-spot Porta Via restaurant on October 25, 2011.
Supporters and fans of T.I. were in attendance including legendary hip hop icon Chuck D of Public Enemy, Pac Div, R&B singer Jarvis Shaffer, Los Angeles Lakers, Matt Barnes, Imani Showalter, Gloria Govan and Laura Govan of VH1s Basketball Wives LA, Pro Basketball Player Terrence Townsend, Michael Yo, TV personality and correspondent for E!
