Award winning app development company, TBoxApps this month launched two new apps catering to speech and language therapists/pathologists. With a rapidly growing use of iDevices in classrooms and therapy clinics, clinicians and teachers are looking to iTunes to find tools to replace or support their traditional therapy resources.
Minimal Pair Pack is a flexible app for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch which therapists or teachers may use to work on speech sound discrimination and production. Odd One Out Pack is designed to work on semantic reasoning skills. With a choice of either three or six cards therapists, teachers or parents can set the level of difficulty of the task. Clients using the app choose which item displayed is the odd one out, and are encouraged to discuss the reasoning in making a decision.
